I'd like to try to do the Angel & Fairy parade every day about an hour before sundown. That way, we could wander around gathering anyone wearing wings, then march them all back to the camp for absinthe. This makes them technically our friends, so the bar is not considered public, which avoids possible legal issues (blech).
It would be nice if we could consistently do the parade every day, but I'm not guaranteeing anything.
I'm thinking a good route would be to start at the 3:00 plaza, and march over to the 9:00 plaza, then back to camp. We could march down different streets, as well, probably depending on the whim of whoever's in front. I think it's about a mile or so, so it will probably take an hour or two.

Tue, August 17, 2004 - 7:44 PMmmm, sunset parade, sounds good. we got 432 babywipes so we were thinking about bringing them to hand out as part of the affv deal. also there are yummy treats here that we think would be good to give out, weird mexican goodies and whatnot, but we might be too poor to get them. we will see. also, id like to request that none of the affv sleep with my most recent and icky ex, though of course you (technically) have free will. and finally everyone is cordially invited by dr. howlland owll, revered master of church secrets of the church of the subgenius, to model our angel fairy selves in the bm fashion show, which is from 5-7 pm on main stage at center camp burn night. (called the superstar strut) oh, and subfinally, the official DRS hazing, i mean, initiation rite will be thurs evening at whisky and whores saloon, asylum, 7 & esplanade. ok, im done.

Mon, August 23, 2004 - 10:08 AMOkay, I'm being insane and I put together a schedule of my *planned* activities on the playa. Reality will of course vary wildly. I'm thinking we'll schedule 4 parades, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
The parades will probably start around 6PM, which I suspect to be right around when the sun hits the mountains. That should hopefully give us enough time to march around and gother people then get back to camp when the sun sets at 7:30. Then we do the absinthe bar. We'll drain a bottle with our winged friends, then hit the town!
Does anybody know if there's something going on Tues-Fri after 6PM that we should work around?
